Centre for Lifelong Learning is a key player in promoting Makerere University Knowledge Transfer Partnerships. Centre for Lifelong Learning’s Cordinator Dr Ngaka has revealed that Centre will play a role in promoting service learning mode of training. Partnerships will be formed between Makerere University and businesses to solve problems identified by either party.
Makerere University students will be linked to businesses where they will undertake internships The business based training will enhance student skills, boost business relevant research, influence curriculum design and facilitate the transfer of knowledge and the spread of technical and business skills. The program will help companies improve their competiveness and productivity through the better use of knowledge, technology and skills from Makerere University.
