Group 6 Pedagogical skills training for Assistant Lecturers at Makerere University

On 2nd November 2018, the training session was arranged and graced by the DVC AA Prof Okello Ogwanga, who said that the Pedagogical training for Assistant Lecturers is rich in content and awarded certificates to participants.

The Director HR was represented by Ms Zake S who stated that CEDAT has the largest numbers of Assistant Lecturers in the University and that is why the was split into two sessions

Fifth Pedagogical Training for Assistant Lecturer at Makerere University

Group five of Pedagogical skills training for Assistant Lecturers at Makerere University has started on 17th October 2018 up to Friday 19th October 2018. The training has been organised for Assistant Lecturers from Makerere University College of Engineering, Design, Art and Technology and few Assistant lecturer from College of Agriculture and Environment Sciences who had missed earlier Training that was intended for their College.

Pepsi Cola Uganda sponsored Makerere University Bachelor of Commerce External Sports Competition 2018

 

On Friday 21st September 2018, Bachelor of Commerce External Students from year one to year under their umbrella Association (MUECA) organized a sports competition in which year four emerged the winner and was awarded with a goat and trophy. For More details click here

Third Cohort of Pedagogical skills training ends participants awarded certificates

Makerere University is training all teaching staff in pedagogical skills so as improve service delivery, the training that started on Monday 3rd - 5th August 2018.  This training was organised for Assistant Lecturers from Makerere University College of Agriculture and Environmental Sciences and College of Natural Sciences. It was organised by Makerere University Directorate of Human Resources

The end of the second Cohort for Pedagogical Skills Training for Assistant Lectures at Makerere University

The Closing of the second Cohort of Assistant Lecturers was graced by Makerere University Deputy Vice Chancellor, Academic Affairs Prof. Earnes Okello Ogwang.  This cohort was organised for Assistant Lecturers from the College of Business and management Sciences. The training was held at Makerere University, Senate Building in the Teleconference Centre at Level 2

The end of first Pedagogical Skills Training for Assistant Lectures at Makerere University

On Monday 23rd to Wednesday 25th July,2018  in the Telecentre level 2 senate building, College of Education and External Studies through the EASHESD in partnership with CTLS and drawing on technical support from the SOE  embarked on pedagogical skills training for assistant lecturers in Makerere university. The colleges of COBAMS, CONAS and COCIS were the first beneficiaries of this training Workshop which was officially opened by the university vice chancellor prof. Banabas Nawangwe who was represented by prof.
